What qualifications are needed to apply for a Bonney Staffing Center, Inc. position?
Bonney Staffing looks for candidates with a recent work history and at least one positive professional reference. While we prefer to see employees who have relevant experience in the position for which they are applying, this is not always required.
What is involved in the application process?
You will need to fill out an application either online or one of our branch locations. You will be asked to provide complete work history information as well as your preference for type of work, shift, and location.
After the application is complete, you will interview with a Staffing Supervisor. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss what skills you have, relevant work experience, and what you are looking for in your next position.
Once you have completed the interview, you will go through basic safety training and, for office and professional positions, may be asked to do some computer testing to determine skill levels.
Bonney Staffing does reference checks with the previous employers that are provided by applicants. Once reference information is complete, you will be offered jobs based on all the factors of your interview process.
Is there a fee to use Bonney Staffing?
As an applicant or employee, you will never pay for any of the services Bonney Staffing provides.
How soon can I start working?
Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once our application process is complete, you will be considered based on your preferences and your skills and will be offered appropriate positions.
How often should I contact your office after an interview?
If you are not on assignment, Bonney Staffing asks that you check in with your local branch office 2-3x/week to let us know of your availability.
What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered? Is it all right to turn it down?
Not every job is for every person. If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.
Do I need a car?
Reliable transportation is required. This can be in the form of a personal car or public transportation. Relying on public transportation may limit your employment options.
When do I get paid?
Earnings from the previous week you worked are deposited every Thursday and the funds are made available on the same day. (Exceptions are possible in the event of a holiday.) Bonney Staffing offers two convenient payroll options: Direct Deposit and the Global CashCard. For more information about these payroll options, or if you have general payroll questions, please speak with your Staffing Supervisor.
What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?
We realize that not every job is right for every person and sometimes you do not know that until you have tried the position. If you are on an assignment and find it is not going to work for you, we will ask that you contact your Staffing Supervisor immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. You must give your notice to your Staffing Supervisor at Bonney Staffing rather than your job supervisor at your workplace. Giving proper notice insures your record remains in good standing with Bonney Staffing and with our client companies.
How can I stay informed about open positions?
All Bonney Staffing job openings will be posted on our website. We also encourage job seekers to call their local branch office 2-3 times per week, as we get new job openings continuously.
